Dori Barnard, Dental Hygienist
Dori earned her degree in dental hygiene from the Hudson Valley Community College, and she has 30 years of experience in the field. She joined Watertown Dental Health Group in 1991 and has been serving our patients with exceptional dental care ever since. Dori loves meeting new people and helping them achieve optimal oral health on a day-to-day basis. Over the years, she has seen the practice grow and expand, and she’s proud to work for a team that’s devoted to state-of-the-art care. Dori and her husband are proud parents of two daughters, Havannah and Logan. Away from the office, Dori spends as much time outdoors as possible.

Sue Boshart, Dental Hygienist
Sue has been a dental hygienist since 1997, and she became a member of our team in 1999. She studied dental hygiene at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, New York, receiving her associate’s of applied science degree. Throughout the years, Sue has enjoyed staying on the cutting-edge of dental technology and using the latest techniques to educate patients about their oral health. Sue finds her job most rewarding when return patients thank her for taking the time to explain how to improve their oral hygiene. Away from the office, Sue enjoys time spent outdoors, boating, snowmobiling, and vacationing.

Janelle Gmitter, Dental Hygienist
Janelle graduated with honors from the Hudson Valley Community College in 2001 with an associate’s of applied science, and she’s been a member of our team since that time. While in hygiene school, she received the Professionalism Award, won first place in Freshman Table Clinics, and was recognized in Who’s Who among America’s colleges. She enjoys establishing long-term relationships with our patients and working with a fun and knowledgeable team dedicated to improving patient care. Janelle has a specialist certificate in songwriting from Berkley College of Music and spends her free time composing songs. Other pastimes include laughing, eating, spending time with family, being outdoors, and learning.

Stephanie Cahill, Dental Hygienist
Stephanie received her associate’s degree in dental hygiene from Broome Community College and began her career at Watertown Dental Health Group in 2007. She loves working with a professional, caring team and promoting good oral hygiene and healthy smiles that last a lifetime. Stephanie’s parents grew up in Watertown, and she enjoys spending time with them and her brother who also lives in the area. Stephanie nurtures her creative side with photography, drawing, painting, and playing the piano.

Kathleen Trottier, Dental Hygienist
Kathleen joined Watertown Dental Health Group in 2009, after graduating from Broome Community College. Dedicated to continuing education, Kathleen holds membership with the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. Kathleen pursued a career in dentistry to satisfy her desire to help people. She enjoys educating patients of all ages about the benefits of oral health and working with a team who provides top quality dental care. Born and raised in Cape Vincent, New York, Kathleen fills her free time with skiing, cooking, family, and friends.

Shyla Alexander, Dental Hygienist
Shyla attended SUNY Canton where she earned her associate’s degree in dental hygiene. She became a member of our team in 2009, and she loves interacting with a variety of people on a daily basis. Working in a friendly environment with people dedicated to improving the health of others gives Shyla a great sense of job satisfaction. She takes pride in making a positive difference through quality dental care. A biology major at SUNY Brockport, Shyla’s hobbies include fitness, lacrosse, and outdoor activities.
