Steven Guy, DDS, Board-Certified Periodontist

Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, Dr. Guy attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he graduated with a BS in Chemistry. For his DDS degree, Dr. Guy studied at Ohio State University, graduating in 1977. Upon graduation, Dr. Guy had the honor of serving as a general dentist and periodontist in the US Army from 1977 to 1997, by which time he had reached the rank of colonel. He graduated with honors from the US Army Command and General Staff College, as well as completed a periodontics residency training program. Dr. Guy joined Watertown Dental Health Group as a board-certified periodontist in 1994, and he’s been providing specialized periodontal care for our patients ever since.

During his distinguished 20-year career in the army, Dr. Guy traveled extensively, spending time in Germany, Kentucky, Georgia, and New York. He earned several awards, including the Expert Field Medical Badge, and was continually recognized for his outstanding service and merit. Dr. Guy extends the same high quality care to each and every one of our patients at Watertown Dental Health Group, providing specialized services ranging from dental implant placement to gum disease therapy, which allow our patients to receive all of their dental care in one convenient location.

Dr. Guy and his wife, Susan, have two children. Their daughter, Kristen, lives in Oregon and works as a financial analyst. Their son, David, is a certified public accountant in New York. An avid birder, Dr. Guy spends spare moments peering through binoculars and spying the variety of bird species New York has to offer. He also enjoys traveling with his wife to new and exotic destinations.
